Partnership Forum, November 21, 2008
The next meeting of the Partnership Forum (PF) will take place on Friday, November 21 from 10 am till noon at the World Bank (36/1, Bolshaya Molchanovka street). This meeting will focus on the theme of 'HIV and Co-Infections', particularly Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B and C.
We also propose to share information about what activities Partnership Forum members are planning for the World AIDS Day 2008. UNAIDS is willing to compile a list of the World AIDS Day activities for general information.
We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting of the PF.

Partnership Forum, September 12, 2008
The next meeting of the Partnership Forum will take place tomorrow, September 12, from 10 am till noon at the World Bank, room # 109 (address: 36/1, Bolshaya Molchanovka, Moscow).
We propose that this meeting focus on HIV treatment related issues. Also there will be a special presentation on the Mexico City International AIDS Conference, brief update on the Partnership Forum Sub-Group on HIV and Injecting Drug Use (IDU), other information and updates, including the update on the provision of the antiretroviral treatment for patients with HIV in the regions of the Russian Federation.Page under construction...
Position Papers "Harm Reduction in Russia", "Involving PLWHIV in Counteracting HIV/AIDS Epidemic", "Prevention of HIV Infection" have been prepared by the three networks of non-governmental organizations and coalitions: "Russian Community of People, Living With HIV", "Russian Harm Reduction Network", "National Forum of Non-profit Organizations, Working in the Field of HIV/AIDS in the Russian Federation". The documents have been accepted at the 1st All-Russian Conference "Civil Society's Response to HIV/AIDS in Russia: Success, Problems, Prospects" that took part in Moscow on January 22-24, 2008. The Position Papers' aim is to present the positions and principles of work, shared and supported by all three networks.
The documents have been developed in consultation with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) with informational support from the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC) and other organizations.
Russian Harm Reduction Network (RHRN) is the non-profit partnership, working in public health and implementing drug-related harm reduction strategies. RHRN unites representatives of the nongovernmental organizations and governmental healthcare institutions. RHRN's mission is to promote drug-related harm reduction strategy in order to combat HIV/AIDS epidemic and other adverse consequences related to drugs, strengthen public health and implementation of civil rights of drug users and all citizens of Russia. National Forum of Non-profit Organizations, Working in the Field of HIV/AIDS (NGO Forum) unites the officially registered Russian non-profit organizations and not registered voluntary coalitions of people, working in the field of HIV/AIDS in the Russian Federation. NGO Forum's mission is to counteract the HIV/AIDS epidemic by creating and sustaining the environment for effective work and development of regional and local non-profit organizations, working with the HIV/AIDS and related issues in Russia. Russian Community of People, Living With HIV (RC PLWHIV) is called to present the interests of people, living with HIV at the international, national, sub-regional and local levels. As part of the Community the HIV-positive people support the extended access to prevention and treatment of HIV-infection, increasing of care and support quality, decreasing of stigma and discrimination, protecting the rights of PLWHIV, widening of PLWHIV involvement to the decision making process
